Outdoor Research Contour Softshell Pant - Women's - 2007 BCS

These were too long on me, so I returned them (and BC's returns process is *so* sweet and easy). I was looking for something like the Marmot Scree (which I love and which does come in short lengths). These are a bit thinner than those and don't feel quite as sturdy. But again, I never road-tested them. They were very flattering, though, more so than the Scree, so if they came in a short length, I'd give them a try anyway.

UPS delivered them to y door, I tried them on, and I haven't taken them off! Great! Great ! Great!
I am on the tiny side so finding hiking pants that fit has been a challenge. Outdoor Research seems to get that an XS need to be extra small!
These pants cut icy winds, sleety snow/rain, and caked mud just falls off. You won't regret having these.

My new favorite outdoor pants!! Stretchy, wind and water resistant, kept me really comfortable while on the move in snow and wind with only a Cap 3 base layer underneath and gaiters over. They will stretch and get a little bigger as you wear them...I ordered the medium based on the sizing chart, but probably should have ordered my usual small.
