Outdoor Research designed its Cirque Windshirt to be a technical shell and layering piece for shoulder-season hiking, climbing, and skiing. This weather-resistant top features a slim fit that reduces bulk and articulated elbows for a more natural feel. An integrated chest pocket provides easy access to your energy bar or cell phone.

The Cirque Windshirt from Outdoor Research is a gear must for any outdoor enthusiast. I have been running the Cirque's predecessor, which was called the Contour, for a couple of years now. The Cirque is a great barrier for light rain, wind, bugs, and any other elements you might encounter on the trail during warmer months. I have also found that it works great as a travel piece, as well as a second layer. All in all the Cirque is a very versatile item that works great in a variety of different applications.
