Whether you are headed to the hill to enjoy the fresh snow, or digging in for winter camping, the Women\222s Breva Insulated Jacket from Outdoor Research will keep you warm. Wear it by itself on cold clear days. If the weather gets a little wet, the PrimaLoft Eco will continue to insulate even if it gets damp, and if things get really gnarly, just wear the Breva as a mid-layer under a waterproof shell.

Bottom Line: Don\222t deflate. Insulate.

This jacket is highly wind resistant but still quite breathable. It is less wind resistant than a gore-tex shell, but more wind resistant than a wind-proof fleece.
