Description

Adios wind.

The Outdoor Research Men's Backstop Glove has a WindStopper lining on the back of the hand so cold winter winds won't threaten the health of your precious little digits. Slide it on alone when you head out for a fall trail run or bike ride, or use it as a liner inside a heavier glove. Silicone printing on the palm and fingers gives you some added grip when you're holding onto your handlebars or trying to tie your shoes.

I've had these for about two months and I love em. Great for driving and shoveling snow. Taken them on some easy hikes and they kept my hands warm below 30 degrees. Snowboarded with them in 40+ degree temps and they were soaked and still kept my hands warm. If these wore out I'd probably buy them again. Solid construction, material, and they're def warm as they can get without sacrificing finger mobility.

I have worn these daily for about a month and a half now, the gripper material is slowly coming off from very light use such as driving or using railing on stairs. I wish the gripper stuff was on all of the fingers. These gloves are fitting and windproof for Western Washington weather. Going to test them in colder weather, snowshoeing soon. They are perfect size for small tasks where dexterity is needed. Sizing seems standard.

I noticed that there is a different version of this glove; without the Windstopper membrane...don't go for it. I have this version, with the Windstopper on the upper hand, and it is crucial.

I have used these gloves for quite cold mid-Fall hikes, climbs, and just hanging out at camp when it is too cold for no gloves. They handle a small cigar well. I would not trade in that Windstopper for anything... essential for winter.

Highly recommended to a friend, as well as anything OR makes pretty much
