If I wear a size 38 relaxed jeans with a 32 inseam do I order size xl or xxl. I don't like tight clothing that restrict movement.

My friend wears a 36 pant and goes with the L. This pant is OR's regular fit--not super active but not their relaxed fit either... While I'd say it is a slightly more trim fit than a jean, it is not "tight". I'd say the XL would be fine...

As I expected with any OR product, these are top notch quality. The zippers for the integrated gaiters are kind of awkward, but not a huge deal. This has just enough pockets and vents in easy to reach places. The material is soft, stretchy and thick enough for dealing with winter conditions. These would be a little too warm for late spring/early summer adventures though.
How do these pants fit? Are they the usual "baggy"
How do these pants fit? Are they the usual "baggy" snow pants or more athletic and trim? I'm choosing between this and the OR Alibi pants. I like that these pants have vents/pit zips but I'm trying to stay away from those "baggy" pants.

These are not baggy. They fit more like khakis than those snow pants you see hanging off people's knees in the half pipe. Call them a "technical fit."
