For when the powder is perfect.

When the cookies are cooked you put your hands in a pair oven mitts, but when the powder is prime, you put them in the Outdoor Research Women's Adrenaline Mittens. Their waterproof, breathable insert provides bombproof protection from everything from the driest pow to the heaviest mank, while their EnduraLoft insulation makes them warm enough to keep hands comfortable down to 0-degrees Fahrenheit. The lining is composed of a moisture-wicking tricot, while a wrist-cinch and gauntlet drawcord work to lock in heat and keep cold snow out.

    warm hands!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

I used these mittens on my first wintry hike in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. They kept my fingers toasty. I did use small knit gloves as liners, which is one of the two downsides, I do wish these came with their own as it isn't practical to try and eat and drink water on the go wearing mittens. The other downside is I wish the clips to keep them together were larger and able to clasp to my pack. They seem durable as I was wearing them while I scrambled up some rock slabs. Overall, not bad for the price.

    warm hands!

Hi Kim, Thanks for writing! These mittens are warm, but we are not able to include a liner at the price of $49, and make these as warm and waterproof as they are. Tradeoffs, you know! If you are interested in a system mitt from OR, look at the Highcamp Three Fingered Mitt or the Highcamp Mitt. You will love it!
