Oury grips have had exactly the same design for years. That’s because the big, meaty grips with large, cushioned blocks provide a perfect balance of comfort and control. The lock-on design means the grips won’t slide around on the handlebar like traditional grips.

great grips

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Not as soft as the standard Oury's but these are more durable, don't twist as much, and are much easier for cockpit changes.

Good grips

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

Solid grips that went on easy and are very secure. They are slightly tacky which makes for a good connection point regardless of weather or sweatiness. Only down side is that they could be a bit larger for my tastes, but I have large hands. The size is probably perfectly fine for most.

Certainly a cheap, convenient, and what appears to be durable grip solution.

Oury lock ons

These grips ROCK! Installation is a breeze. The locking mechanisms function as you would hope, no slipping, ever. The grips are "tacky", even when wet, sweat or rain. Rode Tsali all day in the rain to prove it. After that had to buy a set for my wife's bike. Have used lots of grips over the years. Will be hard to get me to ever try another grip again.

Great on rough, rocky trails.

Lots of cushion but you can still get after it. Great for aggressive riders. The blocks are big, so, I wouldn't recommend them to riders who don't wear gloves.

These are going on all my mtbikes from here on out.

coming to grips

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

These are dope, have them on carbon bars. No slippage, nice and damp, easy install.

Totally Tacky

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Loving these grips after a couple months of use. They've only gotten significantly tackier the more I have used them. The compound is pretty soft which is helps cut down on chop and vibrations being transferred to your body through the grips. While the compound is fairly soft they don't seem to be breaking down at a faster rate then expected. Would definitely buy these again!

Ive been using these for years and love them. They are very effective at dampening trail shock and have a great feel. Highly recommended.

Solid design!

There's a reason Oury hasn't changed their fundamental grip design for years, it's because it works.

I replaced the WTB grips that were on my bike from the factory after they began slipping and turning from being worn out. I immediately went back to an old favorite. However, rather than the standard Oury that I was used to, I went with the Lock-on version.

I haven't looked back. They are wonderful, soft enough without sacrificing durability and they went on really easily. They work well in the wet and muddy too.

I actually reconditioned a child's bike for my son and immediately bought matching standard Oury grips for it.

Seriously, they're that comfortable and reliable.

Also, I find my gloves wear out slower when i use Oury grips, I think it has to do with less slip, so i don't have to death grip when I am working a technical section, like I did with the WTBs.

are the locks included with this. I see...

I just got these grips and I love them. They don't wear down like others. I know these will last because I have oury grips on all my motocross bikes and they are really durable grips.
