Hi! This looks like an amazing product!...
Hi! This looks like an amazing product! Is this fit for women too? I am about to go backpacking but I dont't know how much time I will be in each place...so I don't know what size to get!
If you haven't already gotten your question answered there is a woman's version. It says Women's at the end of the name.

going travelling for 3 months around south america would this bag suit my travels hiking and big trails included?
It would serve you pretty well, but if you're looking to hike around a bunch with your pack I would look at the Osprey Argon or Gregory Baltoro. If you're not going to be carrying everything you have with you, this pack is great.

Concern is the size...traveling to china, need something that I can carry on...we will be on the go and carrying all our gear. The 5100 cu in is more than I need. Traveling only a couple of weeks. Some rural areas.
I don't think you can use this size as a carry on. Probably 35L max for carry on size.

Does the larger compartment meet carry-on requirements?
Being upwards of 5000 cubic inches, this pack is a monster and is equipped to carry everything you need for an extended expedition. As such, it's pretty darn big once you've filled it. I have a 3000 cu-in pack that baaaaarely meets carry-on requirements when it's full, and only on most airlines (United is getting more and more picky these days). If you need to use this as a carry-on, just don't pack it to capacity and then cinch every single strap on this thing down until it fits where you need it to go.
No go on that Val. But a great pack!
