Can this pack br carry on luggage?

Not likely. Since it's a backpack, you may be able to get away with it, but it's going to be very airline/airport dependent.

does this fit as carry on?

Most airlines only allow 45 linear inches for carry on baggage (L+H+W) and this exceeds that even empty. You will have to select a smaller bag.

Is the day pack compatible with a hydration pack?

The day pack is not specifically designed to accommodate a hydration bladder, but there is enough room that you could fit a small sized bladder inside. There will not be an easy access opening for the drinking tube, however, so the bag would have to be opened to use the hydration pack.

Great Bag!

As a petite woman, I've struggled to find a good bag that can hold a lot and still fits me right. This bag definitely does the trick. The mini-bag attaches far more securely to the big bag than most other bags of this type, and the padding and webbing of the back of the big bag help me avoid tell-tale sweatiness! I did a lot of shopping around, and I'm thrilled with my final choice of this bag. I'll be using it on trips for years to come.

do you have photo of this bag on you by chance that you could post?
