Travel light with the Osprey Vector 22 carry-on. This wheeled carry-on is the lightest on the market, according to Osprey, and it features rugged wheels, high clearance, and lots of pockets. Osprey gave the 2,800-cubic-inch Vector extra-large polyurethane wheels with sealed bearings so they hold up to concrete and dirt trails alike. A cavity between these wheels provides clearance, so your bag will glide right over obstacles. Because the Vector telescoping handle has three positions, you'll be able to find a comfortable length from which to pull. This rolling carry-on has a dirty clothes compartment on the back panel, a magazine pocket for your in-flight reading, and a mesh pocket for your toiletries. And this bag weighs a mere six pounds, two ounces.
Bottom Line: Whether you take a quick business trip or want a carry-on for your vacation to a rugged Alaskan mountain lodge, the Osprey Vector 22 will fit your needs.
Bought this mainly for overnight trips where you dont want to have to check baggage. To be honest the biggest compliment I could give this bag is that you will tend to over pack in it. Great room in it and fits down the airplane aisles with ease. Wheels are good on it and give the feel you could take it on any surface
Does anyone know if this bag will fit in the overhead with the top facing out, like you're supposed to? Or do you have to turn it sideways and eat up the whole overhead compartment? I'm talking typical overhead like on a 737, A319/320 etc. Thanks!!!
I purchased this bag to be used as carryon for short trips, especially for work. It fit enough professional clothes for 3 days of meetings in DC (3 skirts/pants and 3 blouses/sweaters) as well as a wool overcoat and pair of shoes, pjs and jeans. The outer pocket that is behind the handle frame for stuffing in a jacket. Although it fits carry on dimensions, I gate checked the bag rather than checking it at the ticket counter; so I don't know how well it fits in overhead or under the seat. It is lightweight and the wheels are good quality. While in DC I had to take my bag from the metro to the meeting location about 4 blocks away, in the pouring rain for two of the days...everything inside the bag stayed dry and it was relatively easy to get in and out of the metro with the bag because it was not bulky. I have a larger Osprey bag that has the backback and rolling function, and I like it so much that I was confident in purchasing the smaller Vector, and I am very please with my purchase.

I bought this bag for international travel where I didn't need a backpack and wanted something lighter than my Osprey Meridian convertible bag. The bag is super-light and has great capacity. There's a "hidden" section on the backside of the bag, where the backpack straps would be located on the Meridian. (Great place to shove your dirty clothes/gear to keep it separate from the clean main compartment.) The wheels are bombproof with very high clearance. I was dragging this thing quickly over cobblestones, railroad tracks, high curbs and pot-holed street... no problems! It fits great in airplane overhead compartments and the light weight is welcome in lifting it over your head. You'll love it!
does this product have a clip or other doodad on the top for attaching a smaller bag?also, are there matching bags in this line with a slide-over feature (a strap or a pocket with zipper bottom) that I could slide over the extended handle?
It has an adjustable clip/loop at top of the bag to attach other gear/bags. The handle is a good width to accept "slip-over" bags. I haven't seen any Osprey brand companion bags. I just bought the eagle creek "in-flight companion" which fits over the handle very nicely.
