Fits my Aether 70 with just enough extra space for anything I may have on the outside of my pack. Packs down small when not in use and is quick and easy to put on your pack

Kept my pack dry

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This rain cover has kept my pack dry in a down pour. I have been caught in the rain quite a few times. It has always done the job. I keep it on my pack at night so the condensation does not build up on my pack. Good product.

I just got an Atmos 65 L pack. What size raincover should I get/

Responded on

Hey Gene,

Thanks for your question.

I would suggest going with a large rain cover for the Atmos 65L. It will be the perfect size to cover the pack and anything that you might have attached on the outside.

I hope this helps.

I'm looking for a cover for my Waypoint 65L (50+15L daypack). Should I get the medium or large? From what I can tell from the comments the medium is probably the best, but I'd rather check first.

Hey Katelyn,
The medium would be the best cover for that pack. It will fit the pack when stuffed full or lightly packed.

Hello there, I am wondering what size would be best for my Ariel 65, size small (plus the daylite bag). I see in some comments that large is best, but it seems as though the medium would be fine.. Thoughts?

Responded on

Hey Kate,
The Ariel 65 in S is 3783 cu in and the daylite pack is 793 cu in. If you plan on having things in the Daylite pack while it is attatched I would recommend getting the Large. If you have it empty and strapped flat to your Ariel (with nothing else on the outside) you could get away with the Medium.

Personally, I would rather have my rain cover a little too big than too small, that way it will cover your pack and whatever you have strapped to the outside of it (sleeping pad, tent body, tripod, fly rod, etc.)

Just purchased the xenith 75 from u guys, what size cover would u recommend? As well I've seen some other brands that seem to fit nicer with elastic etc.....what would u recommend?

Responded on

Hey Ted,

You need to make sure you go with the Large cover. Medium only goes up to a 70 liter pack.

Hi, I just ordered the Osprey Atmos 50 (2800-3200 cu in). I'm wondering what size rain cover I should get. Based on the size of the bag I would assume a medium, but it seems like people are saying it's a bit big and I want it to fit tight. Should I get the medium or small?
Thanks

Responded on

I would direct you to the M. The small wont cover your pack sufficiently, it may be tighter, but it also may not fit over your pack enough to protect your gear.

I also have the Atmos 50. I wanted a rain cover that would fit my Atmos 50 much like the way the one included with my Stratos 34 fits that (molded neatly - not like a trash bag thrown over it). I ordered the Medium as recommended for 50 liter and my bag was absolutely swimming in the cover! I then tried the Small and it was a nice snug fit that stayed on the pack securely. I use my Atmos 50 as a winter day pack. I usually have my gear packed internally with the exception of 2 water bottles in the outer pockets and sometimes my ice axes. I fill it up pretty good but not to the absolute max capacity. If you are like me you'll probably like the small. If you plan to use this pack backpacking with it stuffed to the max plus external hanging gear and sleeping mat then you will need the Medium UL Cover. If you plan to put snowshoes in the exterior pocket and still use the cover you will also need Medium. (I almost feel they could use a size between Small and Medium as its a big jump!) Hope this helps?

Hi there!

I have an Osprey Aether 85L.
I am wondering that what size should i order?

Responded on

KISUN,
I would definitely recommend a size large Osprey Packs UL Raincover for your Aether 85.

Responded on

I have an Aether 85 and Large is the right size for it. You will still have extra room if you have to attach stuff to the outside of your pack.

I just received a volt 60. What size rain cover do I need?

Responded on

I would go with a Large in the Osprey Packs UL Raincover for that pack.

Responded on

for a 60 L pack you might want to go with a medium. The most common complaint I have seen with this rain cover is it runs large. I have a large for my 85 L pack and it is still roomy.

I have an Osprey Waypoint 85 - assume I'll need the large cover? Sounds like medium just covers up to 70L and the Waypoint is a little over that with the day pack attached.

Howdy,

Here's the sizing information for this product:

XS: 10-20 Liter
S: 20-40 Liter
M: 40-70 Liter
L: 60+ Liter

For you at an 85 Liter pack I'd get a size Large.

Runs large

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is too expensive for a rain cover. It will also be easily punctured by twigs and tree branches. Although I must say, it really keeps my pack dry in very wet condition.

Easy to use

Does exactly what it supposed to. Straps on your pack will get wet but everything else stays dry. Super easy to put on even in a downpour. Highly recommend.

Does want it was designed to do.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This raincover does what it was designed to do. I have an Aether 85 and the large fits fine. Luckily I have had good weather on my trips for the most part so I haven't had to use it too much but when I have it kept my pack dry.

AETHER 70

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

My pack didn't come with a rain cover. This does the job and packs into a little wad the size of a fat wallet. Only takes a 10 seconds to secure.

i have a daypack that is slightly larger than the other person who inquired about sizing. it's 20" long, 14" wide, and 8" deep. i'm wondering whether the XS would work on my pack or whether i should size up to a small.

Responded on

Based on the information you provided you have a 2,240 Cubic inch pack. This rain cover in size small is designed to cover Osprey packs 1200-2400 cu. in. which puts you right near the upper limit for this rain cover for that size.

i have an osprey meridian 22, which is a rolling convertible that can be a backpack as well. i think a medium will work as it's about 60L. however, i'm just curious if anyone has had experience with this item with a roller backpack...will it work just like it does with any other pack?

thanks!

Responded on

So you will really only be able to use the rain cover when its in backpack mode, if you try using the rain cover when you are rolling it around its going to snag on stuff and get caught up in the wheels. The pack itself is made to be pretty water resistant so you might not need the cover much but would be a good backup for when it does start to downpour.
