Description

Arrive safe and sound with all your gear—and the energy to use it.

Capacious enough to easily accommodate a week's worth of gear, the Osprey Porter 65 Backpack also is versatile and impressively mobile. You can sling it over your shoulder in a mad dash from bus to plane, or don it like a full-on backpack for the trek to gate Z99. Either way, you'll pass everyone with unwieldy cases as they impatiently fidget on the barely moving walkway or huff, puff, and sweat all over their belongings.

  • Zip-away shoulder harness with adjustable chest strap makes on-the-back hauling comfortable and convenient, when you need it
  • Tuck-away fabric waistbelt with 1.5-inch webbing distributes the load
  • Large panel-access zip to main compartment with lockable sliders makes grabs quick and easy and secures belongings
  • 1680D ballistic polyester is durable and great-looking; 420HD nylon pack cloth is light and strong
  • StraightJacket compression with padded foam sidewalls secures and protects gear
  • Padded top and side handles provide comfortable grip; low-profile handle makes for speedy, easy grabs
  • External zippered top pocket keeps separate frequent-use items; internal zippered pocket on front panel helps organize the interior
  • Rescue whistle is at the ready on the sternum strap

Great Looking Pack

Love this backpack, a little big for my needs but the extra room could be handy in the future. The sides are padded one of the reason I chose this pack. It would have been nice if the padding goes all the way to the bottom for added support.

Will this pack qualify as a carry-on?

Responded on

It will be pushing the limits of carry-on status when packed to the brim but should still qualify based on its dimensions.

THE BEST

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

4 stars and not 5 because they discontinued the porter 90. These are the best travel bags I've ever owned!!! I wish they still made the 90, even though mine is still in great shape. Folds down small, has a great strap system, and even the fastex clips are covered so the airlines don't destroy them
