From tadpole to frog.
In years to come, your tadpole-turned-frog may not recall what exactly inspired them to take up backpacking so passionately that they'd solo hike the AT by the time they're 19, but they will remember the sound and the sensation of being carried in the Osprey Poco AG Plus Kid Carrier (1587 cu in). Built to last, the Poco AG Plus caters to all-around fun with its adaptability and overall comfort.
Osprey poured everything it knows about making comfortable, utilitarian packs into the design of the Poco AG Plus Kid Carrier. Equipped with the same suspension as Osprey's famed Atmos and Aura AG, the Poco AG Plus is crafted with a lightweight yet durable Anti-Gravity Aluminum Suspension that ensures a comfortable ride for both the carrier and the carried, while the Anti-Gravity AirSpeed Backpanel encourages ample ventilation with its 3D tensioned mesh and conforming construction.
In addition to an adjustable fit, ventilation, and plenty of padding for you, the Poco AG Plus includes a host of features to keep your little one safe and happy when you both head out on a hike. A fully framed and padded kid-cockpit ensures a comfortable cruise and the built-in sunshade, butterfly harness, adjustable child seat (complete with safety leg loops), and adjustable and removable stirrups further contribute to the Poco AG Plus' easy amenities. Not to mention, the Poco AG Plus can be easily adjusted to fit any member for the family—except the tyke himself, of course.

- Q & A
Does anyone have an issue with the bottom of the hip belt digging into your hip? I felt along the bottom edge and there is a very hard ridge, like hard plastic that is killing me (and my wife). The top edge of the hip belt is just over one inch above the top of my iliac crest. Should I be wearing it even higher? Did I get a bad bag? If it makes a difference, our daughter is 19 lbs, and she was the only thing in the bag. Any advice or suggestions would be welcomed, don't want to return the bag, but as it is, it is unusable.
Hey Eli, sorry to hear about this. I've got some additional questions that might help me diagnose the problem if you'd like to email me when you have a chance. It may be that you're wearing the hip belt too high. The pads should line up with your hip bone. Please email me at email@example.com when you have a moment and if we can't get it figured out we can set up an exchange.
Eli, to add to the previous comment, make sure the hip belt is square around your hip bones, not sitting on top of them or below them. I hope this fixes the issue!!
Eli, Ian can help make sure that you have the pack in the right place. What you want is for the middle of the hip belt to be covering the crest of your hip bone on the side of your body.
We have had this "AG" design for a year or more now, and we have had no issues, so I am wondering if it's just in the wrong place for you.
Ian, thank you for helping. Please reach out to me if there is something I can do.
