Perfect for backpacking

I bought this pack for a 2-week backpacking trip across Europe and I really loved having it. I'm only 5'4 so I bought the S/M and the size was perfect. The various tension straps helped me to quickly and comfortably adjust the pack to accommodate added bulk and weight as my trip progressed. The built-in rain cover was great for unexpected downpours and the padded shoulder and waist straps were very comfortable against my body. Also the Airscape really helped keep my back from getting sweaty (which just added to the comfort level of the pack). Overall it's definitely a high-quality backpack and was a great investment for future trips

Have you checked out the size chart? Its right below the dropdown to select size. It looks like for this pack you just need to measure your torso.

Great Pack

Adjustable shoulder straps and countless tension straps make it easy to get this pack to fit like a glove. Good breathability at contact points along your back. Top opening makes it easy to stuff all your gear. The only reason this didn't get 5 stars is due to the straps that contect the top cover are tied into the mesh pocket portion of the pack and tend to pull pretty hard when you lock down the top. No a big deal and I don't see this affecting the longevity of this pack. All in all, a great pack for long weekends or ultralight multi-days.

Actually, every pack Osprey makes that is over 10L in volume will accept a 3L reservoir. So, the Kestrel 58 is made for a 3L reservoir.
