Pack light and move fast.
Load up the Osprey Kestrel 32 Backpack with all the layers, snacks, and water you need for a full day in the mountains so you can take on everything from mellow walks below treeline to airy and exposed traverses in the high mountains. The Kestrel is supported by a Lightwire frame and Airscape backpanel that help you comfortably carry loads between fifteen and thirty pounds. Osprey built the pack with a large zippered main compartment that swallows all the gear you need for a long day on the trail, and included side, front, and hipbelt pockets to secure whatever smaller items you might need easy access to when you're trying to make it over the pass and back down to the trailhead before dark. The Kestrel is hydration compatible and will easily carry a three-liter bladder, and it comes with an integrated rain cover to keep your gear dry when an afternoon rain shower catches you out in open country.

perfect pack for a 1-3 night trip!
Is the reservoir actually included as listed in the Specs? It would be great, but it's less likely...
Hey Kelly - This Kestrel 32 Backpack does come with a hydration reservoir. Feel free to contact me directly with any additional questions.

I noticed that the Kestrel has been facelifted and honestly it looks really nice. However, can the side compression straps still be reversible (with the opposing buckles) as on the current version? I noticed the buckle design changed.
Hey there! Absolutely! That is one of the signature features of this pack!
Thanks for the question,
