Description

A reservoir that won't fall apart fifteen miles from the trailhead. We really, really hate when that happens.

Need a water reservoir you can trust? Osprey put plenty of careful thought into its Hydraform Hydration Reservoir. A large, sturdy twist-off cap removes and tightens easily, and it leaves plenty of room to reach inside the reservoir for cleaning. A 180-degree bite valve shuts on and off with a simple twist, and the straw sticks magnetically to Osprey hydration pack sternum straps.

I have several bladders and this is my favorite. It is very well made and has been durable so far. I primarily use it in my Atmos 65 pack, It has taken some rough treatment with no problem. It is easy to clean, overall a great bladder.

I use this bladder in my chugach 12 ski pack and love it . The had back and twist to tun on and off bite valve are awesome. I can not speak much to durability I have only had this out three days this season. The only problem i have had with it is the hose is too long to fit in the insulated sleeve in my pack but I think that is more attributed to it being such a small pack.

Good solid product, only trouble was when it was below freezing the line froze up easily when water was in it.

I just got it and haven't gotten to use it much. No problems yet! It was easy to put into my Osprey Xenon pack and it is not too heavy at all. (I'm a weakling so that says a lot!)

Mine lasted two years which is pretty good for what I put it through. Not sure if I'll buy another one.

This thing is awesome. I can't even compare this with my brother's camelbak, which started leaking on his last trip out. The magnetized mouth piece is really nice to have. It keeps your straw from bouncing all over when you're on the move, and you always know where your mouthpiece is going to be. Also, the nalgene handle and lid come in handy when filling this thing. I can't say enough good things about this.

I use this for hiking in several different packs. I usually got out for a hike once a week, and it hasn't failed me.

I like this reservoir quite a bit for running and skiing. The back panel support keeps it flat compared to other bladders which turn into tubes making them uncomfortable on your pack. Its also not necessary to have it suspended because of its rigidity. I have not had any leakage as previously mentioned but after good use, the bite valve is starting to come apart so it leaks there. Once I get a replacement bite it will be all set to go again. Also - the plastic is not durable enough for boiling water. Duh - right?

Got this as a part of the Raptor backpack. The reservoir started leaking at the bottom near the seam the 5th. time it was used. Not impressed at all. My camelback is not leaking, and it is 4 years old!

First let me say, I love Osprey's packs. But this product is terrible. I've owned 3 and they all began leaking in the same spot, near the bottom at the seam. I started the AT last March 2012 with a brand new one (my third and last)and 9 days in near Franklin, NC it began leaking. I replaced in Nanthala, NC with a 2L Platypus and it lasted the rest of the trip with no problems. Furthermore, my dad, who was with me thru-hiking had the same issue with his, albeit his lasted until Hot Springs, NC. Also, 2 other thru-hikers we met had issues with leaking and had theirs in trash bags in their pack. They, too, replaced with a Platypus brand reservoir. The Platypus was the most widely used reservoir on the trail in 2012 and only one person I know of had an issue with the outside of his Platy delaminating and it subsequently sprung a leak, but he had had his for a few years. So between my 3 leaking Osprey reservoirs, my fathers 1 and two other AT hikers in Hot Springs, NC, that's 6 leaking Osprey reservoirs. I would not buy this product again and NOT recommend to others. Great packs! I will never not own an Osprey pack, but the reservoir is garbage!

We've bought knock-offs and CamelBaks and this is by far the best product. The internal support makes it much more comfortable to carry. The magnetic piece of the straw is just wonderfully designed. It sounds funny, but it's so easy to drink from this. This also has less of a plastic taste than other systems we've used.

This is a fantastic bladder for your hydration pack. Easy to fill with great lid and seal. It has a bit of a frame to keep it in place and to make sure it goes in the bag easily. Not the lightest if you are real concerned about that but will last and the drinking nosel is fantastic and does not freeze in the cold.

For the price, I doubt you will find a better reservoir for your Osprey pack. It's a little heavier but the quality and design is excellent. The stiff backing makes it not slosh around in your pack and helps the water to not bubble out. So far no leak problems. The only issue I've had (which is with most reservoirs) is the plastic taste starting off. Eventually it goes away.

If you have an Osprey pack, you should get this. Fits perfect in my Kestrel 48 LOVE the magnetic strip for the chest strap. Great product.

love the rigid frame, makes it easy to install in your pack and keeps the bladder fairly flat when full. The magnetic retainer is a great help also and the shut off mechanism works great. It weighs a few extra ounces and costs a few dollars more, but seems worth it

Excellent design and fits perfectly in their osprey packs. It's durable and the stiffness makes it really easy fill and clean. I tried to replace the bladder of an old small hydration pack that was meant for Platypus bladders, but was disappointed to see that it didn't fit. Perfect when it fits though.
