    Killer for Long Distance BikePacking!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've had a ton of Osprey's Hiking packs and absolutely love their design, quality, & excellent customer service! So when I was looking for a great light weight pack to carry on my 250 mile "Thru-Ride" of the Arizona Trail, I figured I would give them a try yet again. WOW.... The Osprey Escapist 18 was no exception to the great features found on all of my other Ospey products.... Light Weight, Super Comfortable, Great Hydration System, & Tons Of Room for all my small pieces of gear!

Here's a Full In-depth Video Review I did on the Ospery Escapist 18... Enjoy!

    Awesome pack for off-road adventures

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

After many years of stuffing water bottles in jersey pockets and being limited to carrying everything in three pockets and a saddle bag, I finally decided to try out a pack when heading off-road.

This little pack has tons of organization and space without being overly bulky. Side pockets are just the right size to hold water bottles if you don't have a hydration bladder, and the front compartment organization has mesh pockets to keep tubes, a hand pump, and any other tools in place and easy to find. The main compartment, while not being huge, has more than enough room for a spare jacket, gloves, snacks, and any other stuff you might need along for the ride (or hike). There's also a little compartment up top that is probably more meant for glasses, but works great for keeping small snacks and gel packets within easy reach.

Is there an interior pocket for holding a laptop?
