Whether you're alpine climbing, adventure racing, or just getting away for an overnighter, the Osprey Women's Aura 35 Backpack gives you ultralight versatility you need. Throw your sleeping bag and bivy into the easily accessible full-zip main compartment, an extra layer in the welded stretch-woven front pocket, a hydration reservoir into the roomy interior sleeve, and hit the trail. At only 2lb 9oz (medium), the Aura 35 pack won't slow you down. When you're moving fast and sucking wind, this ultralight pack's breathable mesh back panel circulates air to keep you cool, while its women's-specific hip-belt and shoulder straps give you custom-fit comfort. The AirSpeed suspension provides semi-flexible support and ErgoPull hip-straps draw your load evenly over your hips to eliminate pressure points. External daisy chain loops, removable sleeping pad straps, ice axe loops, and stretch woven side pockets add versatility to this bomber backpack.

Bottom Line: The women's-specific Osprey Aura 35 Backpack—go light, go fast, go without that annoying sweat patch on your back.

Great Pack!

I use this pack for as a school pack and everyday biking use. I love it. It does have a few quirks that loses the five stars though. I love women's cut, but the straps are a little to close and the pack can sometimes rub around my neck if I don't adjust it correctly. Otherwise, I found the expandable front pocket is great and the huge zipper for pack access is awesome for getting to the little things.

I'm 6'0 with a long torso. Is this pack long enough

I'm 6'0 with a long torso. Is this pack long enough for me?

The best way to determine this is to use the torso length measurement method. To find your torso length, measure your back along the spine from the the top point of your hipbones to the knobby bone at the base of your neck. This will give you a measurement in inches that will determine the correct pack size.

My most versatile pack

I got this pack because I wanted something that could easily transition between a daypack and an overnighter. The Aura 35 does not disappoint. With my tent rigged on the outside straps I can easily carry enough for a day or two long trek. Although it's bigger than I need for most day hikes, the pack is light enough that I barely notice it's there when it only holds a few key items. The pocket on the hip belt is another neat detail, great for a camera or energy bars.

Okay for a Daypack

By:

This pack is probably good for day trips but I wouldn't recommend it for anything longer. The straps don't have much padding and therefore the straps cut into your collar bones. I returned this pack for the larger and very comfortable osprey kestral 48 and love it!
