CFO Fly Reel

It's easy to get lost in all the flashy new fly rods and reels available to anglers these days, but at the end of the day, fishing is really about making good casts to healthy trout on clean and wild rivers, and this is what the Orvis CFO Fly Reel has been about since it was introduced decades ago. Machined from a solid block of aluminum here in the USA, the CFO is built to Orvis' strict quality standards and features a classic click-and-pawl drag system that's simple, effective, and easy to maintain. The CFO does have some modern features, though, like a machined finish, external drag adjustment, and a retrieve that can be quickly converted to accommodate either left- or right-handed anglers.
