Natural warmth, weather protection, and reversible styling.
Pull the Ortovox Men's Piz Boval Insulated Jacket out of your alpine pack when you reach the summit and need to transition from skinning to skiing. Its fair-trade, naturally-sourced Swisswool insulation keeps you warm while you rip skins, and it wicks all the moisture you're still sweating from the steep skinner. Swisswool is also highly compressible for compact storage when you don't need the jacket's warmth. Ortovox made the Piz Boval's shell out of windproof, water-resistant Pertex fabric, which makes the jacket an excellent choice for alpine climbing when there isn't any snow to ski. The Piz Boval is reversible for versatile pairing options, something that's a concern to every mountaineer.

I am really impressed with my Ortovox Piz Boval. It may look like an expensive version of a 'little puffy' BUT IT"S NOT! Because this jacket has Swiss Wool it is incredibly comfortable and practical no matter what the temperature. I just got back from a 10day road trip where temperatures varied from -7 to 45. I only brought one jacket, and this was it. It was perfect every single day. Very happy I have it, and have worn it everyday since I got it on 11/4! More of a European cut
