Description

A women-specific sidecountry freeride pack with spine protection and an easy-access avy gear pocket FTW.

Get the right protection for your body size, as well as easy avy gear storage, with the Ortovox Women's Free Rider Pack. Its women-specific back protector and snug harness system matches your body so you get the most reliable protection while hucking cliffs and charging powder in or out of the resort boundaries.
  • Women-specific TUV-Certified back protector guards against spinal injuries from crashes while skiing or snowboarding; panel best fits torso sizes 38-46cm (15-18in)
  • Wide, but lady-friendly neoprene waist-belt ensures the back protector hugs your spine and the whole pack fits well while hiking or skiing
  • Front avy gear pocket with sleeves holds your shovel and probe where you can access them with your skis still attached to the pack
  • Main compartment holds a hydration bladder (sold separately), layers, and skins for tours into the great white open
  • Back panel zipper access point lets you get to your gear without unloading everything
  • Ski straps secure your skis (150mm or narrower) and help secure a snowboard or snowshoes vertically
  • Front loops hold ice tools or trekking poles and the climbing loop on the waist holds climbing hardware
  • Sternum strap further secures the pack during the downhill and an integrated emergency whistle lets you call for help
  • Waist pocket holds electronics, a helmet loop secures your brain bucket, and a front pocket stores snacks or extras
  • Tough nylon resists punctures from alpine gear and water-resistant zippers prevent melting snow and rain from getting inside to your dry clothes
  • Polygiene treatment on the back panel and harness prevent the build-up of odor-causing microbes with a 100% natural silver compound

Great Pack

I bought this pack to replace my orthovox free rider that was stolen. This is a bit more female specific than my other unisex backpack was, i can tell the difference in the waist band and the padding in the back. I am 5 foot 6 and 130 and the one size pack fits my torso well. The front chest strap also fits lady parts better than my prior bag:)
