You don’t want to go into the backcountry without the right gear, and the Ortovox D3 Package includes all you need to save your friend’s life if things go wrong. The D3 Avalanche Beacon uses a triple-antenna system to direct you straight to the signal. Just follow the numbers and arrows—it’s that easy. Pinpoint your friend with the 240 Lite pfa probe, and dig like mad with the Professional Aluminum II shovel. Of course, gear doesn’t do any good if you don’t have it with you. So Ortovox threw in a Haute Route pack to carry all the essentials.
