Orage pulled out all the stops and gave its Men’s Thrilla Jacket fully taped seams, a stout 10K waterproof breathable rating, and even waterproof zippers. If any moisture gets inside this jacket, then you must have fallen during your pond-skimming attempt. Orage even added internal cuffs to hold out snow when you ride the deepest fluffies of the season. This jacket keeps the weather at bay during the burliest of storms, so you can keep ripping while your friends whine endlessly about the conditions.
I bought this jacket almost two seasons ago, and still rockin' it after 100+ days on snow; worn it comfortably in Tahoe storms with just a base layer, and hiked in 50 degree spring days without burning up. Fit is good (on the large side, but super comfortable), but the plastic zipper is poor quality. It broke after just 20 days, but Orage paid to have it repaired, and threw in a free waterproofing/cleaning to boot! The velcro on the cuffs tends to come loose when wet. Additionally the buttons on the hood come undone with little pressure when worn over a helmet. A few minor problems, but all-in-all a sick jacket!!!
I bought this jacket in the Jan of 09 after skiing with a Northface for last 8 years. I couldn't be happier with it. It's got plenty of room for layering and I love the wrist snow skirt. I just got back from a trip to Utah and even with glorious face shots, I didn't have any snow getting under the jacket. The hood is a good size to fit on top of a helmet and I'm certainly easy to spot with the green color. The only downside I've found is that the snaps on the hood release too easily and I'm often trying to snap them back into place which can be tough with gloves on. Great jacket and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to be seen.

I have the green in a large (I'm 6', 185lbs), and it fits well - a little roomy but that's good cuz I usually fill my pockets and wear a beacon. Great quality, has everything little extra you didn't even know you'd need but can't live without after you have it (like the sunglasses pocket/wipe and season pass holder). Keeps me super warm on even the coldest of days, and I'm still getting compliments on the color.
This jacket rocks! The color is dope, the shell is waterproof, and the hood is removable. The only complaint I have is that it only has two "pockets" on the inside, a goggle and ipod pocket. The goggle pocket is absolutely useless on the mountain, but it keeps the newspaper dry on the walk home. Other than that, its a great jacket. Loose fit. I'm 6'4", 200lbs and I went with an XL for the sleeve length. A baselayer, fleece liner, and this shell kept me toasty and dry in a pretty hairy storm on top of Imperial Bowl where I could barely see my hand in front of my face. Own this jacket!
i was not sure when i got it at first, but after wearing it for the first time in windy sub zero temperatures the coat worked out great. Even though the coat is large it fits well
This is a fantastic jacket. I purchased it for my son and he loves it. All the kids comment on the cool color. It is very functional and seems to be high quality. He really likes the collar as it comes up very high and protects against the wind on a long chair ride.
When I first ordered the Thrilla I did not realize that what I was ordering was a shell. But it was easy to return; I mailed the shell back and my refund came in a timely manner. Thank you! Since then I got the Thrilla jacket that is insulated and my son loves his green Orage Thrilla. This is not our first experience with Orage and we are totally satisfy. Great products!
