Expected more from these

Have had these for a couple of weeks now and have gotten wet on multiple occasions. First day, a small piece of snow got into the gap next to the hip pocket and melted through. I have also gotten wet through the forward-
facing thigh vents and through the back pockets when snow got in.

The sizing would be perfect if it were longer, unfortunately the gaiters barely make it past my top buckle and are stretched when sitting. It's hard to find pants that fit well in the waist and leg, so it's a shame they won't work. I really like the over-sized, removable bib; it goes high enough that getting snow down the waist is a thing of the past.

Overall, I'd like to see the fit get longer, get some zippers on the back pockets (cargo pockets work as flaps, but the back pockets fill with snow in a crash), and fix the open stitch on the bottom of the hip pockets. Getting wet through Gore-Tex pants with under 20 days on them is pitiful, even in the PNW

Sizing chart off

Horrible sizing. I am a 34" waist and could barely fit into the large. THe length is shorter than I am used to as well. The material is actually Goretex Soft shell. These are tighter fighting than over pants and bibs I have used. The thighs vent (in the front) rests right on the knee cap, causing friction when moving. I have used the Stoic Bombshell bibs for the last few season and those are much better fit, mobility and are lighter. Plus they are usually a lot less $$$. The only thing going for these pants is that the material seems strong, as it should be for a heavy soft shell. I picked these up off gear trade and they are not working with me on an exchange for a different size or model. If anyone has an interest (size large, green) , even after reading this review, post it below.

Good pant, but...

Great pant for the price, the only problem I had and ended up returning them is that the diagonal thigh vent zips catch on the top of my knee, making them rather awkward to hike or skin in the steep. If you dont hike/skin much and want a bomber Goretex pant these are pretty sweet.

Great features

Love the features, sizing is a little small and ended up with XL for a little for relaxed fit (35" waist on me). Legs could be longer, but features cut and price ar espot on for this bib. Very comfortable, color and tech is top notch

Excellent Pants

I've put a full season in the same pair, and they've held up better than any other ski pants I've owned. The "bib" portion, which can zip off, is a really stretchy, thin material, so it's never bunching up or feeling cumbersome. I'm also completely sold on bibs from now on...I come out of the occasional tomahawk as dry and snow free as I started.

Breathability is what you'd expect from top of the line Gore-Tex, and the ventilation is clutch for climbing or any other times you need to cool off fast.

Sizing is spot on too. Baggy enough to carry some steeze, but not getting in the way. I'm 6 ft and go with large.
