So the "Best Butt Ski Pant" award might be something that Orage completely made up, but regardless, it's a title that the Women's Alva Insulated Pant holds. Yeah, Orage designed the Alva to be a great-fitting pant, but in creating this looker of a pant, it didn't sacrifice performance for a minute. A Prime 10 membrane, DWR treatment, and fully taped seams keep you dry when you slice through heavenly powder or yard sale through slush while you try out new tricks. You stay warm and comfortable on bluebird days at the park with 60g polyester insulation, and this pant has plenty of space to layer up on cold and cloudy days.

A performance fit pulls the Alva close to your lower body without restricting your mobility, and zippered vents let out some steam when you hike to the top of the terrain park. Gaiters keep snow out of your boots, and an adjustable waistband ensures an ideal fit regardless of how many layers you have on. Orage reinforced the lower legs for durability against your ski edges and rocky precipices.

Great pants

I ordered these pants for a recent ski trip and they were perfect. I loved that they had such a flattering, comfortable fit. They kept me perfectly warm!

    Unanswered Question

I just got these from - they're such a flattering fit and gorgeous! Curiously, it seems they have a one half of a snap inside the lower back of each pant leg. I'm assuming this is to fix the bottoms up so they don't drag in regular boots, but I can't find the other half of the snap for the life of me. Can you help me figure it out?

The Orage size chart you have listed is not the same as other websites. Is yours new and updated and the others are old or is yours old. Because If I fallow your chart I would get a medium and if I fallow another sites for the same pants and model year I would get a small. Also does Orage run small or large. Can you check this? Thanks!

Hmm, yeah looks like our chart doesn't match up with theirs exactly. .. Thanks for pointing that out!

I actually just checked out my own measurements, and I think our size guide is more accurate. A couple of their measurements (specifically hips and natural waist) seem WAY bigger than they should be. Chest is the same as ours, which I think is accurate. 7-9 also seems about right. Also- Travis checked out the ACTUAL inseam length on this pant (see below) and what he measured is what's on our size chart, but their size chart claims an additional 2 inches.

I wear a medium in these pants, and my measurements were spot on with ours for size medium.

I'd say Orage runs true to size. I've been wearing their stuff for years and medium is always perfect!

Hit me up if you have any questions!

Inseam length? (Y'all are seriously killing me with this refusal to list inseams on pants. Tall girls need to know. Short girls probably do too. Everybody wins.)

XXS is 30.5" ; XS-M is 31" ; L-XL is 31.5" . We don't carry many tall inseam sizes, but if we do they will be called out in the drop down menu when choosing a size.
