    Very thin

From the description, I was thinking that these would be outwear, like running tights, or like "jammers" that you wear in the pool. They are, however, really, really thin. I'm not at all opposed to tight-fitting "euro" style swimwear, but these are, ahem, a bit scandalous. There is a very anatomically correct outline of the wearer's (that would be me, I guess) genitalia visible, at least in the white ones that I got. I think I'll keep them to wear under board shorts or other outerwear when it's cool. I wore them today under NRS h2core tights and they were perfect for that. If you're looking for something you can wear alone for swimming or stand up paddling (which is what I got them for), keep looking. The L is pretty big. I'm 6'1", 185 at the moment, 34 pants generally, and the L fits just a tad on the big side (for tights... they're still "tight"). I would imagine I could wear a medium and they'd be fine. So if you're on the fence, go down.
