Don the O'Neill Men's Freedom Stereo Pant if you're want to rock the jeans look without the snow-attracting qualities of actual cotton denim. Those other styles that actually use denim don't have the water- and wind-resistance like the polyester shell of this does. There are no speakers, but the Freedom Stereo has the freestyle-inspired fit that lets you pump up your shred-track.

  • Connection system joins your pant waist to your O'Neill jacket's skirt to help keep snow out on those epic pow lines and heavy knuckle hits
  • Bottom reinforcement helps prevent premature wear at the pant cuffs
  • Articulated knees move with you for a more comfortable feel while you hike
  • Ankle zips let you drop the waist and rock the low-rise look
  • In the event of a slide, RECCO reflector strip can aid recovery by rescue teams that are RECCO equipped

Good Pants

Good looking pants that are very well made. On a pow day they do not become snow velcro for the most part which is a common issue with cords. the only complaint is they have an odd cut .. they fit pretty snug on the lower leg but seem to have a ballooning cut on the thigh which gives you a slightly odd appearance of half roomy half fitting ( and btw I have pretty big thighs so normally too tight is my issue) .. all in all a good pant that worth looking at and a steal at this price as well....

how are these pants? does snow get all caught in the fabric? i like the idea i just doubt they actually work well in snow...

The fabric is treated to avoid snow sticking to it, but to be honest no matter what they do, cord material will always have some snow stick to it. It won't affect the waterproofing as these pants have a waterproofing laminate on the inside of the pants. Having a little bit of snow stuck to you in the name of looking good is a small price to pay.

Has anyone used this pant before? They look cool however I am concerned that the slim fit of the lower leg would restrict movement to much. Comments?

The Tightness of the lower leg should not really restrict your movement, since the tightest area of these pants is around your boots (and those are already going to restrict you movement more than the pants). These pants have decent room in the thighs and knees that make sure you can grab Roast Beef or Chicken Salad.
