A+ Jacket

  • Gender:Female
  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

This jacket is awesome! I put it through the wringer this weekend in (a)typical Pacific Northwest Conditions. Friday was a lighter powder day and it held up the whole way through without a speck of snow making it's way in. Saturday was a wet and heavy powder day and with variable snow all day I managed to stay completely dry. Sunday was thigh-deep PNW powder with bonus faceshots and still the jacket held up like a champ!

All three days I experienced variable winds but never even got a chill - all I rocked underneath was my base layer, too!

The jacket is simple in terms of features but don't underestimate it. It has wrist gaiters that will keep your hands snow-free, two fleece-lined pockets at the hip, light insulation, a fixed hood and a powder skirt. Taking it one level further, the powder skirt has the best feature I've ever seen - it has two internal loops for your belt. You run it through on the front before you snap in (there are also two snap loops for your belt in the back) and it holds your jacket in place all day! No slippage in the jacket = no powder down the pants.

One more note - I ordered the AOP color way and while it looks wild on the website it's actually pretty tame in person (in a good way).

I can't recommend this jacket enough for a resort go-to, it's awesome!

What is the back length of this jacket?

What is the back length of this jacket?

It's a bit longer, Ann. It wraps just under your butt at the very bottom.
