All you need from an Iron

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This little iron does the job and does it well. Gets hot stays hot provides an easy wax for your board.

Upgrade from your hand-me-down

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Finally bought a real wax iron so I don't cook my wax on my board. This works as described, it's small and easy to store. Easy to use.

Yup its an iron

Way nicer than that $6 wal-mart iron I was using. Heats up quickly and maintains its heat well. especially nice for waxing snowboards with the massive heat sink that are bindings.

Works well.

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Basic iron which gets the job done. Puts wax on evenly and quick.

Sick! Pays for itself!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I love this thing and its a must have in the winter seasons. I bought it right after Christmas and it paid for its self within a week. from doing others boards to not having to pay for my board to get waxed. it heats up quick and lays the wax smooth for a proper waxing of the snow stick

Is it free volt? or 110volt?

Good Iron

Only used once so far so can't say about the durability, but it worked well and heated evenly seemed to hold it's temperature very well too, took forever to cool down which shows that the base plate holds it's temp well. The only thing i did not like was the directional grind on the base plate, i don't know if there is a reason behind this or not but i would prefer a perfectly smooth bottom. All and all great little iron for the price and look forward to using it for many seasons.

Responded on

I was wondering the reason for the directional grind on the base of this iron too. Are you like supposed to wax the long way with it so you're not going against the grain?
