Rather than using grains or fruit as a base, Omnibar decided to use grass-fed beef from its ranches in Montana. It provides adequate protein and a flavor that is reminiscent of savory jerky, but it is in an easy to eat form. The beef is combined with an array of natural ingredients such as mango, rosemary, sweet potatoes, almond butter, and flax seeds to create an energy bar that is ideal not only for adventures, but also to fill-in as a snack during busy days at home.
