Snow Anchors are pretty simple items, but Omega Pacific went above and beyond to make a basic tool even better. The powder-coated, high-visibility yellow paint helps you find your fixed lines in a whiteout. Omega Pacific also rounded off all the edges, so these Snow Anchors don't tear up your pack or other gear.

I like the color in a blizzard, and also the curved back part of the T. I think it holds better when conditions get slushy.

The high-visibility powder coating and the rounded edges sound awesome, but are they worth the extra 6oz in comparison to the MSR Coyote (24in version)?

Doesn't matter how light your anchors are if you can't find them. I'd say it's worth it. Bring one less Clif Bar and you've made up the difference.
