This ‘biner has quality on lock-down.

Many carabiners force you to choose between strength and weight, but the Omega Pacific Lite D Screw-Lock Carabiner offers a balance of both. Made with a unique cold-forging process, the Lite D Screw-Lock features the high-strength ratings you depend on when toying with the laws of gravity and physics without also featuring excess weight.

Here's what others have to say...

cheap and solid

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

these are slowly replacing all my other lockers in my rack. cheap, good shape, strong and made well. What more could you ask for?

Heavy Duty Anchor Points

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought a pair of the shiny ones to use on my top-rope anchors. For that they work great, but I haven't really used them for anything else.

The Good:
--Cheap and readily available, so when I wear them out lowering off of top rope I don't cry too hard buying replacements.
--A pair of them nest together super well, better than other lockers I've used in pairs.

The Bad:
--Heavy. I don't care so much, since I only haul them up the wall once.

Overall, my go-to anchor carabiner for setting top ropes. For other uses I prefer others.

Heavy duty biner.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought 3 of these to use in a Z-drag setup, and also for rappelling. They are large (which is good) and easy to operate, even with cold hands. Well made, a solid biner. Just what I was looking for.

Heavy Duty

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Its a great carabiner, it holds a ton of weight, I put mine on a rope swing and it held 4 grown men all over 200 lbs, solid piece and super light weight!

Solid Carabiner

These are super solid carabiners. I have the steel one which may be slightly different, but it is pretty much the same except stronger and a bit heavier. There are perfect to use for setting up an anchor to top rope. Very reliable biners for pretty cheap

Great biner for rafting!

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Omegas are my go to carabiners for rafting. They are a bit heavier than other brands, but weight is not an issue on the river. I like these biners because they are durable, strong, and inexpensive.

Works great

I have several of these for climbing, one of which is more than several years old (it's the backup/extra now) and they all function flawlessly still. It's a cheap, simple carabiner that will get the job done. The shape does mean that you can't fit as much into the carabiner, but I haven't had an issue with it thus far.

Cheap and Solid

Simple and to the point. I was using mine on my Self Anchoring device for a while and have no complaints.

If ya need a cheap, but great working simple locking carabiner, you've found it. This is the locking carabiner I've used as a go to for all my locking biner needs. Look no further.

Its alright...

What can I say, it's a good all around D shaped locking carabiner. It seams to work well in most situations. How ever it has a rather small gate clearance which can make it difficult to clip in some situations.

Agreed with the small gate clearing, you can easy find some good others with wider clearing. Still great for what you get though. Its nice in the beginning until you gain preferences.
