We purchased our Loon 15T from Florida Bay Outfitters down in the Keys back in Feb 07. It was our first Kayak, and we learned all of our skills on it. It was suggested that we have a rudder installed for even better performance, so we ordered one from Old Town and had it installed. This boat is a joy to paddle, and my wife and I have loved it. It is very stable, and we have never rolled it. However, is is primarily designed for shelterd water use as compared to the open ocean or waters that large waves can build up in. I stronly recommend it for families, because of its stability. The seats are very comfortable, and the quality of the boat is very good overall. We've had no problems with it. It is currently for sell on Paddle.net, because we have just purchased a 21' sea kayak. Rich

i have two of these sweet Loons. we take them to maine and use them in and around moosehead lake, kind of near where Old Town kayak's come from! they are not to heavy, and awesome in the water. very comfortable with adjustable seating. recommend getting rudder kit for maximum performance. overall, great fun for relaxing on lazy summer days
