You can try to catch fish barehanded from the shore, or you can go after them in a specially-designed kayak. Up to you.
The way we see it, you have three options when it comes to fishing: you can stand on the beach making trout calls until a fish beaches itself at your feet, throw rocks at passing tuna until you bonk one on the head, or get the Prowler Big Game Angler Sit-On-Top Kayak and spend an awesome day on the water with your pole, tackle box, and a few cold beers, reeling in fish after fish after fish. It's up to you, but if you opt for the Prowler, you'll love its wide-platform stability, in-mold seat well, and adjustable Support Track Foot Brace system that lets you wrestle big suckers without feeling like you're going to go for a dip. You can stash a beer in the in-mold cup holder, and wait for your fish finder (there's a re-designed scupper system, made to accept a transducer, in the deck of the Prowler) to tell you where the catch is hanging out. With all the gear you need stashed in the bow hatch and oversized stern tank well, you'll never wish you had more room, and you won't lose your paddle, either, since you can stick it in the side keeper to keep it from floating away. Way better than making trout calls.

- Q & A
Great for long and short trips.
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I was amazed at the storage room inside this kayak! I easily could have stored provisions for a week-long trip. The Ocean Kayak Prowler Big Game yak is one of the best looking out there. And loaded (240# paddler plus provisions) it is still was VERY fast on the water. I couldn't be more pleased!
in the description it says mold in seat, is this wrong? the seat (on other sites) looks to be an adjustable and stow away seat. is this one different? Thank you.
