The Oboz Women's Ignition Trail Running Shoes provide a snug fit and protect your feet from trail debris as you run. The Ignition's bootie construction (the tongue isn't separate) envelops your feet in breathable mesh yet helps keep out pebbles and dirt. An underfoot TPU plate ensures you don't bruise your foot every time you come down on a rock or root, while a TPU heel clip gives you stability without compromising flexibility. Oboz' dual-density midsoles absorb shock, and rubber outsoles grip rocky or wet ground.
Bottom Line: Light a fire under your feet—get yourself the Oboz Ignition Trail Runners.
i've only just got mine, and put them straight on for a short walk, the fit is great, i have pretty narrow heels but the front of my foot is wide-ish, and these are a great fit. no problems with heel slipping. there tough to get on but the 'sock' design thing is going to be great for canyon trips and the grip looks super tough. i'm tempted to order a few more pairs while they still have them in my size! durability test is yet to be, so only 4 stars so far...
well, my feet did get a little wet and very cold on a rainy/sleeting day; however i am used to waterproof shoes. i gotta tell you though, these shoes are awesome! i'm getting a spare pair before they run out

These shoes are fantastic for trail running, as well as running on the road that takes you to the trails. provides great support for my ankles, without being too snug. The bootie construction really works and is not at all too difficult to put on. The only thing I had to change was the insole because I have horrifically flat feet that require alot of arche support, but that is the case with every shoe I've ever bought. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone who enjoys runs off the beaten path!
Ran great on the trail straight out of the box. As above, it is a bit snug to pull on, but then super comfy and no rocks come into the shoe. They are a great mix of rugged sole without being heavy or clunky. No pinching or rubbing as of yet running on the trails- so far so good. I would definitely recommend them.
I needed to size up half a size than my usual....and am glad I did. Great shoe, a little breaking in to adapt to the harder protective toe area--I feel it a bit when running down hill. I run technical, variously challenging terrain up to 30k distances. I think this is going to become a favorite of mine. Highly recommend it, fits like a glove, at first snug to pull on, then it loosens up perfectly.
I bought these for work. I do a lot of hiking. These are nice shoes. They fit great. I agree they are a little hard to get on. My only gripe is that I wish they had more cushioning inside.
I got these for an upcoming trip to Costa Rica. I wanted something very comfortable, with good traction and support. I absolutely love them. I wear them all the time. Straight out of the box and onto my feet with minimal issues. Because the bootie sits high I would suggest sports socks that sit high on the ankle. Otherwise the shoes do rub a bit. But overall this shoe is great and what a price!!!
I dig these shoes. I've had 'em for about a month and a half and wear them about everyday. The rubber is really great- super sticky so I don't slip on the snow packed trails or icy pavement, but it doesn't leave black marks. It's got what Oboz calls a bootie construction, not a typical tongue. So, you can't just slip it on and off easy, but once it's on it is super comfortable- like nothing I've worn before. And now I don't even have to untie it, so that's good. And it keeps the rocks out when off road. I like the shoes a lot, and the company seems pretty cool, so it feels good supporting a new cool company.
