The Obermeyer Girls' Parker Jacket keeps your daughter warm and comfortable on the slopes from the depths of January's cold to April's slushy sun-filled days. This insulated ski jacket gives her the look she wants, and the weather protection she needs. Pull the storm hood up over your child's head when the clouds roll over the peaks and when the sun makes its appearance go ahead and ditch the removable hood and open up the Underarm zips for a little fresh air. The tough Forecast fabric stops Mother Nature's nastiness in its tracks and the adjustable powder skirt keeps her dry even after a nasty spill. Obermeyer made this ski jacket with plenty of pockets for her music player, phone, and treats.

Bottom Line: The Obermeyer Parker Jacket takes the cold and wet out of stormy days on the mountain.

Niki, I am the Obermeyer Sales Rep. In the intermountain West to answer your Question. Obermeyer sizes are generally set by age. A 6 is for the average 6year old, an 8 for an 8 year old and so forth. All Preschool jackets and pants and Jr. Pants have an "I Grow" system where the sleeve length and pant legs can be let out 2 inches. We use the same sizes charts as The Gap if that helps.

Great Jacket

Our ten year old spends hours in the cold boarding, sledding, playing, etc and never complains about the cold. We live in the Pacific NW, so I can only report on the kind of cold we get here (teens and 20's). It keeps her warm and dry. The iPod pocket is handy too. I would definitely recommend this coat.
