A highly waterproof, breathable HydroBlock Pro membrane makes this jacket one of Obermeyer's most technical ski shells for boys, and a mechanical stretch helps the jacket's fabric move with him as he skis down. Body-mapped Permaloft insulation helps him stay warm while you teach him how to dig a pit.


Obermeyer designed the Mach 7 with an active fit with Ski Contour articulation that ensures full mobility on the slopes. Control Zone Ventilation uses zippers under each arm for circulated airflow in case he's still too warm from the skin up. There's a Snap Away powder skirt at the bottom and a removable hood up top, and the hood is helmet-compatible for convenient security. Obermeyer also fixed the Mach 7 with a Recco rescue reflector that helps Recco-equipped
