All fabrics offer some level of "UV protection," it's called blocking the rays of the sun.All sarcasm aside, yes, this fabric does have a UV treatment just like the short sleeve version.

This is a great trail jersey for cooler days. I like to wear long sleeves even in the summer, so it's not so good for mid summer days but any other time it's great, and looks cute too. The fitting is quite small though - I take a small in most tops but with this one the medium was the better fit.
