These glasses are awesome...lightweight titanium, strong, comfortable. Wasn't sure if I'd like the tint, but it's excellent. These are discontinued, hence the price, so they're a great value. Come with the hard torpedo case and big cleaning cloth. Overall, the best glasses I've owned.
If you plan on ordering these glasses, get a hard case. I've got two pairs of square whiskers and have sent them in for repair at least 3 times out of warranty. Love the glasses a lot obviously but I seem to keep breaking the small springlodaded piece of metal that holds the arm to the frame. Recently picked up some Inmates that don't have that mechanism and am very happy with those too.

These are very nice sunglasses. They are ridiculously lightweight, and very comfortable. I have the V28 black iridium, and the lenses seem high-quality and clear. When wearing them, they don't seem as dark as the picture would suggest. These are well-made, comfortable everyday shades. I wouldn't pay full price for them, but at half (or SteepandCheap) price they are a good deal.
The polarization is always very good to have. They stay on well during outdoor activities, and don't tend to fog up. They fit my medium/large head well, and provide adequate coverage. However, a little light still gets in (mostly below the lenses) so if it is important to me to have better light coverage (e.g., when fishing or on the snow) I prefer either the Kaenon Hard Kores or Costa del Mars.
Looks great, feels great. The frames are light and durable. The polarized shades work extremely well in bright light. Especially during sunset when you are driving into the sun. The shades so an excellent job of cutting out the glare. During golf, the grass really pops out at you.
These sunglasses fit very well, block the perfect amount of light, have fantastic polarization, and are so lightweight sometimes I forget I have them on. That said, I'm very picky with my sunglasses, particularly when it comes to visual distortion. I bought these (on a great deal on SAC) having been recommended Oakley for their 0% visual distortion. Maybe my eyes or head are different than their test subjects, but I do experience visual distortion with these glasses--that slight feeling of being underwater when you have them on, that the ground is just a little farther away than it should be. I don't plan on sending them back, but I was a little surprised at this, given the great reviews Oakley gets in this department. Other than a little visual distortion, these glasses are amazing.
I received these sunglasses, in the polarized black, as a gift. I was initially very excited, as they were the nicest pair I had yet owned. Unfortunately, despite taking great care of them, they began falling apart within just a few months. The screw holding one of the lenses in came out, causing the lens to fall to the asphalt where it was scratched. I put the lens back in, put the screw back in and tightened the same screw on the opposite side. A week later, the other lens fell out. Then the original one fell out again, completely losing the screw this time. I sent the glasses back to Oakley, at which point they told me they would replace the faulty frames for $50, which seems ridiculous since the frames were poorly made to begin with. Why should I have to pay to replace something you didn't make right in the first place? Also, despite the lenses having been scratched as a result of their frames falling apart, they said that since I had no way of proving that's how the lenses became scratched they would not replace them, and wanted me to pay for the replacement lenses as well, another $45. I was shocked by how awful their customer support was, and how little they cared to stand by such an expensive product. I won't be giving Oakley any of my money. My recommendation: buy some Native sunglasses instead. Less expensive, more durable, far better warranty.
Oh, and when Oakley sent the unrepaired glasses back to me, they had repackaged them poorly and the lenses were WAY more scratched up than when I sent them. Again, Oakley said they had no way of verifying that they had damaged the lenses, and would not be replacing them for me. Great customer service.
These are extremely lightweight, provide excellent polarization, and come at an excellent value (at SAC price). The optical clarity is superb and the lens tint provides enhanced contrast. They also look a little more classy than the sport-style (plastic-framed) Oakleys.
