The Oakley Square Whisker Polarized Sunglasses might look like they have a wispy, barely-there frame that would wimp-out at the first sign of danger, but Oakley made this frame with C-5 alloy. This means you can wear durable shades that don’t look like they’d double as torch goggles. Although these shades have a distinctly casual style, the frame and lenses use an 8.75 lens curve that wraps around your face for peripheral clarity and side-of-the-eye protection. Polarized lenses cut blinding glare out of the picture whether you’re on the water, in snow, or downtown.
Bottom Line: Not into crazy-thick frames? Neither are the Whiskers.

Accidentally posted these on a the wrong pair of Oakleys-
"I smashed an old old pair of similar Oakleys during a hysterical snowboard fall. I had the original box and shipped them off to Oakley in hopes they could repair them. They couldn't so they sent me these for free! That was way more than I was expecting. I'm very loyal to Oakley now. Yes, they are expensive but worth it with coupons/sales!"

If thet fit your medium face, and the sun is indirect, these are effective; yes,they produce a dun bronze tint, but they maintain accurate, true color. Ultra-comfortable and secure on your face. Moderate light conditions,good for finding things in low contrast; they do enhance a bit; good for a trained eye in dicey cloudy-bright conditions, coastal rocks, rocky mountain areas where you might be looking for a line. BUT IF THE SUN COMES OUT, GRAB THAT 9 per cent black iridium WHISKER OR NANOWIRE 4.0. The Nanowires will blow you away. Standing in a blindingly white glacial cirque? Fear not in the black iridium.

They're a little lose as far as the temples go... I have had then fly off my face when I whip my head around. Not common though that's for sure, I almost have to try to get them to come off. Sorry I don't have measurements
