Oakley Split Crater 2.0 Sandal - Men's - 2006 BCS

The 2.0 versions are of less quality and comfort than their predecessor. The original version tan/black got me around Hawaii, the Caribbean, and two summers of fast pitch dad work. Very disappointed in Oakley.

This is a whole new revolution in relation to the standard flip-flop designed sandal. This thing is super padded, has a great traction rubber design on the bottom, and is fully equipped with an anti-microbial foot-bed (stink resistant in lay-man’s terms). I know you don’t like having stuff in between your toes…neither do I. These things will totally change your mind about that!

This is the most durable and comfortable sandles I own. Looks great too.

These are definitely very comfortable sandals, but I think their best quality is the more refined look than your standard flip flops. These are great for those that do not subscribe to the slacker, frat-boy, beat-up-Birkenstock look. A couple warnings: they take a while to break in and soften up so don't be surprised if they rub you a little raw in the beginning. Also, buy them about one size smaller than your shoe size so they won't fly off your feet with every step.

Service and delivery from Backcountry.com was outstanding. The sandals are of great quality and the price very fair. I would not hestitate to do business with Backcountry or to buy Oakley again.

Add a pair or two (one of each color) of these to the puckerware shirt and the qwik dry short (see my other reviews) and your beach or cruise vacation wardrobe is set. These sandals are very durable and comfortable... this year will be our third vacation with them. I highly recommend a pair.

These are the highest quality and most supportive sandals I have ever owned. I have had mine for over a year now and they will not break down. Simply the best.
