Your sandwich-bags-taped-over-khakis snowpant idea last season was definitely unique, but you have to admit that your legs weren't exactly comfortable. The Oakley Shelf Life Pant will help keep the wet out and you won't end up losing pieces of it all over the park.

  • Fully taped seams keep wetness out as you float
  • Inner thigh vents dump excess heat
  • Loose fit (13in front rise and 23.5in leg opening at knees) for layering when the thermometer drops
  • Attachment system works with the powder skirt of Oakley's compatible jackets

Great Pants on Their Third Season

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Got these pants 3 seasons ago and still love them like there's no tomorrow. Plenty of room to wear sweatpants or baselayer underneath depending on temperatures. Taken plenty of spills and never had a tear. Waterproofing has slightly warn off but not to a largely noticeable point. Only time my pants got wet was 1 day last year where it was extremely wet snow with temperatures right around 32 degrees.

Waterproofing Doesn't Last

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

I purchased these pants 2 years ago, skied them 3 days that year. Then last year, I skied them another 2 days none of which were snowy. This year I have gone out twice. I haven't wiped out in these, nothing is torn or split or damaged.

Last weekend it was crazy snowy. On the lifts my behind and thighs became completely soaked through in 2 hours. I would not recommend these pants to anyone looking for something that is waterproof and will last. As far as sizing goes, I am 6'0" 175lbs and the larges fit perfect (if a little baggy).

I was so excited to finally have waterproof ski pants, and now I am just full of disappointment and shame.
