Ride what the pros ride.

The Oakley Sethmo Stretch Fleece Top is Seth Morrison's choice for layering in the backcountry. Built from super-soft Polartec fleece, the Sethmo Stretch Top keeps you comfortable, even when waking up in a snow covered tent. The Sethmo also features oh-so-important Lycra thumbholes, because cold wrists suck. A chest pocket ensures the goodies are close at hand, while the 3/4 length zipper keeps ventilation under control.
  • No underarm seams eliminates irritation
  • Slight drop tail keeps the backside warm on the chairlift
  • Embroidered accents add style points

Great layer from Oakley

Oakley has REALLY stepped it up in the winter wear department in the past couple years, and this piece is not different. It's a heavier weight fleece, but still breathable and lightweight. The Polartec stretch fleece material is super comfortable and gives you a ton of mobility (which I lacked with my last fleece layer). Can't go wrong with the thumbholes either. I'll be wearing this in the backcountry, on the resort, around the lodge, in the city, and just about anywhere else I can.

I won't give it 5 stars because of the fit between the whole Sethmo line really confuses me. The large Sethmo Gore jacket/pant is very technical fit on me (I'm 6'1" 185lbs) but the size large fleece is a pretty baggy fit (which is what I was looking for). The fit is perfect for me, but I wish Oakley was a bit more congruent across the Sethmo line.

Great design, very breathable and warm fleece

The design and colors of the sethmo line are great, I have both the orange and black fleece. Polartec stretch is a nice material, very warm and breathable. I`ve used this fleece a few times but not in very cold days yet, didn`t have a chance to. But it was very warm and comfortable for a little below 30ish. What I like about this piece is that it is not just functional but very attractive and a great piece for apres and even going out for dinner if it is not too cold. The chest zip is big enough for helping cooling down on not so cold days, or hikes. The sleeves tend to be a little bulky on the wrists because of the thumb loop, but that`s not a problem. I`m 5'5" / 155lbs and use the small, it has a slim fit and not bulky for layering.

Super Warm & Comfortable

Can't imagine I'd wear it any other day but those well below freezing, cuz it's THAT warm! Fits great, and looks great with my other Oakley ski gear.

Great heavyweight fleece but...

I was really excited to get this fleece - looking for a layering fleece and loving Oakley, this seemed to be a perfect fit.

It's great - but it's heavy and thick. I wouldn't consider it layering - it's a pretty good stand-alone fleece with nothing else.

Thicker than I wanted it, so sadly, it's going back...

Great Fleece

Sleeves are a bit long and baggy. Definitely get a size up. Normally I am a Large but had to get the X-Large. But, overall very nice.

The SETHMO part two.....

Ok the Sethmo stretch fleece is exactly that. I'm about 150LBS. sleeve 30-32. I got the Black and the cinder.....size Med. Sleeve length killing me too long, but the arm pits are way too tight, bummer. I am thinking this is on the slim fit size. I am going to try my luck with the Large size. The sleeve length I can live with.....the arm pit squeeze no way, like no room to spare and that's with a tee shirt......Back country get's the billing and the shipping done right ......to exchange and return for exchange was and is painless....Great JOB Back Country....The phone guy's are also great with help and direction.....looking forward to the return of La Nina part two, have you ever seen the tram bottom out at Squaw Valley or Jackson Hole...Last year ...........?????

New Design

This is a sweet piece to the layering puzzle. The chest pocket works in conjunction with the Jacket chest pocket(Modular System), keep certain things safe and warmer. Nice design thumb loop on wrist, lycra makes it fit and feel nice. Pretty deep chest zipper for venting while hiking. Good weight on material. I wear a large.
