Oakley Script Sunglasses

Not sure I can add much more to what has already been said about these sunnis, but they are all that and more! Stylish, oversized, amazing optics. They don't have nosepads, so they will slip if you're trying to do anything incredibly athletic in them, but for the most part they fit the bill for just about every occasion.

    Happy with the investment

Always reluctant to spend a lot of money on a pair of shades, I finally took the leap after I decided to move the the Caribbean. Equatorial sun requires proper protection. The bronze color of the lenses is great for the bright sun and "happy" color rendering, and without being too dark they still cut the harshness of the rays. I have to assume I'm getting a quality product with Oakley. I wouldn't say I have an especially small face, but it's certainly not big. These fit me great. Classic tortoise shell with my favorite green color for a modern edge. Very hip, fashionable, and most importantly functional. These go with almost everything, but they are not as versatile as say black, or traditional tortoise shell. This would be my only complaint, but I'd buy them again, and again.

      great sunglasses

One of the biggest issues for me is that my eyelashes hit the lenses and I have to buy my glasses accordingly. However, this is not an issue with these glasses. They are sporty yet stylish and I really love them. I especially love how the inside of the frame is a different color. Super cute.

Great sunglasses for a fashion whore, clutz!

These sunglasses are amazing and perfect! I have an abnormally round face and it is so hard to find sunglasses that look super cute, but are strong and can handle my abuse. I got the Dark red/ VR50 Brown Gradient and the color looks great; it has a lot more depth than a black frame, but does not look totally hokey. Bottom line, I can wear these and know I'm looking cute and when I get distracted and somehow manage to run face first into a closed door, they wont break and cut up my pretty face :)

          I think you'll love them.

I bought these in cappucino/brown and absolutely love them. Like the previous comment, they fog. (I've only noticed this when skinning uphill). I get a ton of compliments on them and they fit my face really well. (round med/lg face). The best thing about them is that they cover a large area and they are not so dark you can't wear them inside. They are perfect for Alaska as the sun isn't so intense. Skiing though in bright sun, I'd recommend a darker lens. Hungover and having breakfast--they're perfect! I have a girlfriend who bought the gray print/hot pink ones, and she doesn't like them nearly as much as the brown ones I have. Overall, I highly recommend them.

Not my favorite pair, but definitely not bad.

It's no secret I love my Oakleys. This pair fogs up a little bit from time to time (mostly when I get a warm car and it's cold out). They're a little bit big on my small face, but I don't mind. They're best suited for a medium face, I'd say. I have the green tortoise with dark bronze lenses. The green tortoise is sick, and the lenses are as effective as the dark grey lenses I have in my darts. They really make that harsh, direct sunlight not so bad.

Do these have spring hinges? If not, how have you found the fit? I've worn frames that do not have spring hinges, but they were straight temples (not curved like these) and it eventually hurt the sides of my head because there was too much pressure.

Can these glasses be fitted with a prescription lens? I would love to own a pair of Oakleys but I am never able to find a place that will put prescription lenses in them because of how much they curve around the face.
