When style counts as much as staying warm and dry, the Oakley Men’s Puffy Down Jacket kills it on both fronts. Insulated with fluffy duck down and protected by 20K-rated waterproof shell fabric, this jacket also features a removable faux hood fur for bonus style points. Workin’ up a sweat? Zip open the chest vents and dump some excess heat. Oakley also added a collar earbud pocket to hold your mini speakers.
Down jackets like these are best washed with a down specific soap, (like the one nikwax makes) in warm water, either by hand or front-loading machine. You should then dry them in a dryer, and throw in a few clean tennis balls to fluff up the down.
Down should not be dry cleaned, it strips the feathers of their natural oils and interferes with the loft.
I have the black, its got a silver pattern on it that leaves plain behind in cold smoke. Fur is removable, but I like to leave it on. Venting is great and easy to use, mesh screen when opened is purple. There are wrist gaiter's, thumb loop and hand opening, lycra. Outer wrist closure is a retractable velcro strap/shell fabric with a rubber/soft plastic sewn in pull tab. Fleece lined lower front pockets are soft on the hands. The front storm flat is segmented and uses magnets for closure, they are super strong and make a cool "snap" sound as they lock together. There is an inside pocket behind the right lower front pocket thats a stuff sack for the jacket. Always have enjoyed the Oakley Puffys for the cold days or traveling about. Nice to have a snow skirt for the pow days. Inner lining is a printed nylon. Zipper pulls are a soft plastic built around metal zipper pull, solid jacket.
Hi, I'm 182 cm (5.97 feet) tall, what size should I get? I've done the chest-waist measurements but I'm on the very end of M, but not big enough for L. I like baggy and they say this one is baggy but I'm still not sure.
Another question - is this jacket's powder skirt zipper compatible with other pants, Burton, AK or Vans (or who else has got the zip jacket-pants interface)? I'm looking for pants also that I could combine with this j. Thank you.

When reading the details of this jacket I must have missed that it is a loose fit. I do have an awkward body type. I am 5' 10" and 155 pounds, but my torso is longer about that of a 6' man. I bought the medium and the length was great, but because of the loose fit, I felt like a wind-sail.
The jacket is very warm and of durable construction. I would have loved to have owned it, but the sizing just wasn't appropriate for me.
If the sizing is like last year's model I would get a small....this jacket is huge. I'm about 5'7.5" / 155lbs and the medium fit me like a tent so I sent it back.
Everything you see and read about this jacket are true. Oakley really outdid themselves. The high quality warmth and waterproof, outstanding comfort and choices to keep the cold completely out while releasing the heat in all the strategic places, stunning outside design (black with silver geometrics) and inside purple design. Pockets are just where you need them, lined and zippered. Love the fur collar that keeps my neck and ears warm around town. I also appreciate the details given to the inside snow skirt and how it integrates (zipperedd/snaps) with the Oakley snow pants with internal leg skirt and boot hook. I am always getting complements but the real test has been 6 hours Alpine skiing and building an igloo. I was never cold.
