Down is lightweight, and it's an excellent insulator. Oakley protects the 450 fill with a water-resistant nylon shell, which means you stay warm when the flakes fall horizontally. I am so pleased with this puffy. I have had others in my life, but this one is really made for snow sports. Not stinky climbers. The vents on the chest seemed odd. But they do the job better then any other design I know of. I am a true large, and this jacket fits true to size.

I bought this Oakley jacket. I was looking for a really cool down jacket. I bought the black one and it is really cool. I took it up skiing the other day in SUPER cold weather, and I was super toasty all day long. Its got a really baggy look to it, so if you like that GET THIS JACKET.
