Streamline your next training session by streaming wireless audio from your iPod or Bluetooth device to the Oakley O Rokr Pro Audio Sunglasses. Not only does Oakley eliminate the tangle of wires that clutters up your zen state, they also put controls right on the shades themselves, so your jukebox or phone stays zipped up while you jump from Del to Daft Punk or answer an incoming call. The O Rokr Pro design comes from the Oakley Half Jacket, meaning you can even change the lenses depending on conditions. *Requires iCombi Bluetooth adapter for use with iPod. Not included. **We cannot ship this Oakley product outside the U.S.

Bottom Line: Cut the wires off your workout tunes with the Oakley O Rokr Pro Sunglasses.

Talk shop with all the gear freaks out there: ask 'em questions, upload/browse photos, and give your 2¢.

Love the feel of my O Rokr Pro sunglasses but the earbuds don't

Love the feel of my O Rokr Pro sunglasses but the earbuds don't fit into my ear very well thus losing sound. It's not loud enough while I am mowing grass and such. Is there a way to tweak the earbuds so they will fit into the ear canal better? Also, the song changer does not work with my IPhone. Is this a common issue?

orokr is a no rocker

lasted about two weeks. the problem is that they are not waterproof. therefore if you wear them on a bike ride or run, when you sweat, you basically ruin the elctronics inside. i fixed the problem initially but the damage was already done and the music is no longer audible. Oakley makes great sunglasses but a few field tests would have shown that these sunglasses were not combat ready and now i have a very expensive pair of sunglasses. Again. If you want to walk on the beach and rest under an umbrella while you listen to your ipod these will do just fine. If you are an athlete looking for a way to enjoy your sport with a little music, stick to the ear buds.

I received a pair of Oakley O Rokr Pro Audio Sunglasses for Xmas

I received a pair of Oakley O Rokr Pro Audio Sunglasses for Xmas and can pair them with my iphone. I can hear music and start and stop songs, but can't get it to jump to previous or next song. Are the glasses defective?

O Rokr Pro

By:

I owned a pair of ORoker Bluetooth Sunglasses before this pair and really loved them. I unfortunately lost them and purchased the PRO model to replace them. The styling is much better. Less boxy and bulky and they have a softer more stylish look. Great improvement on the articulating arms which connect the earbuds to the ears. These are longer and much more comfortable. The only negative I can think of is that the volume is not as high as the older model. I even compared them to an ORoker Thump model, and noticed the same result. Volume could be higher at the high end. Difficult to hear the music in traffic or noisy surrounding.

Think twice before buying

By:
September 1, 2008

I made the mistake of buying these as a replacement for my Oakley Thump Pro glasses. My thump pro's are on their second trip back to Oakley to get fixed because they just stop working. For some reason I thought an upgrade would make it all better.

I decided to upgrade so I could stream direct from my ipod. The reviews said that the O Rokr pro would stream music even if my ipod was in my backpack.
Here is what they really did:
1. Music and phone calls were choppy and the only way to fix it was to wear my ipod on my arm and put my phone on my hip. I bought the best bluetooth transmitter I could find and it still wouldn't allow me to store my ipod in my backpack.
2. The music control buttons stopped working after a couple of weeks. So much for skipping songs.
3. They have now completely stopped working I can't even get them to turn on. So I am now faced with dealing with Oakley again, which at best is difficult.

I plan to return these and get a pair of bluetooth headphones. This is way too expensive of a toy to have this many problems with.

If it's working with your Bluetooth phone, then the sunglasses are not defective. In order for the ROKR to work with any other Bluetooth device, that device must be able to be paired to other Bluetooth devices. Pairing with other devices is the same as pairing with your phone, but any other device must be able to transmit Bluetooth (either 2.0 or 1.2). Check the instructions that came with your other Bluetooth devices for any specifics on the pairing requirements and whether you need a Bluetooth transmitter. More detailed info can be found here:

Disappointed in Oregon

By:
January 4, 2011

Purchased 3 sets of Oakley O Rokr Pro sunglasses. These glasses ranged in price from $220-$380 dollars. I purchased a set for my husband, my best friend, and an employee. All three glasses had failed within 8 months. I called Oakley and was informed that O Rokrs are a discontinued item and Oakley will not do ANY repairs on the glasses. They did state that if I sent in my $900 dollars worth of sunglasses they would offer me a 25% discount on a new set of non-electronic glasses!!!!!! Very surprised that Oakley would offer such horrible customer service... DON'T BUY ANY O ROKRS. IF THEY FAIL YOU WILL BE LEFT WITH A $380 PIECE OF GARBAGE!!!!!!!

This might sound a little redundant but I want to make sure.

This might sound a little redundant but I want to make sure. Since the O Rokr's design came from the half jacket, will half jacket lenses fit into the O Rokr?I already have a pair of half jackets along with numerous lenses. I was hoping those lenses will fit into the Rokr.Anybody know the answer?

These things are great!

By:
September 30, 2008

I was dubious about picking these up, as a pair of wireless headphones I had wouldn't work unless I had the ipod on my arm.
Not the case with the Oakley set up.
So nice to tuck the Ipod in a safe place!
Calls come in crystal clear, and the voice dial mode works flawlessly!
Highly recommend!

no, it doesn't, but you can get a blue-tooth adapter that fits on the bottom of the iphone. Motorola, Sony and iCombi are examples that will work just fine.

They come in handy!

By:
August 30, 2008

It's nice not having to worry about trying to fit an earpiece under sunglasses, especially when wearing a hat. The only complaint I have is the quality of the speakers could have been much better. They crackle on certain high frequencies (symbols and high hats) which get's annoying at times. Phone convos are crystal clear and the mic is set deep enough into the frames to actually reduce alot of the wind noise. If you can see yourself using these for anything hit the buy button now. I can't wait for snowboarding season!
