If the tricks you're nailing in the park aren't getting you a lot of attention, don't blame the Oakley New Karing Pants you're wearing. This stylish performance shell pant not only gives you waterproof breathable, fully taped protection from wet and snowy conditions, but it's so stylish it can make even a falling-leaf look good.

  • Hidden snaps under belt loops let you attach the powder skirt on compatible jackets
  • Mesh-backed inner thigh vents with invisible zippers help you cool off after an intense run
  • Internal gaiters with custom gripper tabs and boot clips keep the snow out of your boots

Bottom Line: Style to spare.

Talk shop with all the gear freaks out there: ask 'em questions, upload/browse photos, and give your 2¢.

These pants are super cute. I got the lavender ones. I am 5' 11" so it's always a challenge to find long pants. I wish they were 1 or 2 inches longer... but they are basically long enough when wearing boots. Really nice fit and shape. Would be great if there were a couple more pockets. Overall, great pants!

With out insulation, are these warm enough with the right undergarments

With out insulation, are these warm enough with the right undergarments to wear snowmobiling in sub freezing temps?? They seem to be warm when I tried them on at the store. Please help!!

thanks! This will be yr 15 for snowmobiling, So I have all the necessary layers to keep me warm. I am just looking for a snow pant long enough for my legs :( The ones I have now have 40G of insulation! I just find myself buying new snow pants every few years. Never have found ones long enough tho! and I need them to be warm!! :)

I would say yes. With the right undergarments(or layering) just about anything will keep you warm. I suggest at least a base layer, a heavier mid layer and then your outer layer. You may need more or less layers depending how cold it is and how comfortable you are. Make sure your layers breathe well and dry fairly quickly. Do not use cotton.

Just long enough

By:
September 24, 2011

As a girl with extremely long legs (5'9'' 120 lbs w/ 35 inseam) these pants are JUST long enough. No, they don't touch the ground with my boots on, but they also don't look like I'm wearing capri's either! It look HOURS of searching online to find a pant that was long enough, without dropping a few hundred bucks. Even NorthFace carries a "long" but the inseam is only 33! However - these pants aren't insulated, but with a size small I will be able to add a layer or two, and I am assuming it will be fine. The fit is cute, it doesn't make my skinny build look bulky and there are plenty of pockets.

Bottom line: If your a girl who fights with finding pants that are long enough, give these a shot! I think you will be satisfied!

Sorry for the late reply... I've worn them multiple times snowboarding with a base layer pant and yoga pants under and I didn't have any trouble staying warm!
