The Oakley Monster Pup Sunglass features the same lightweight O Matter frames and UV protection as its sire, the Oakley Monster Dog, but it has a less aggressive look. Oakley reduced the dimensions of the Monster Pups, so they still feature fanglike ear stems, but the lens shape is squared for a more classic style. As with all of Oakley's sunglasses, the lenses wrap around to provide visual clarity and protection for your peripheral vision.

Bottom Line: Wear your Monster Pup Sunglasses while you roam sunny city streets with your pack of friends.

I think they'd be perfect for baseball. As you read reviews, take into account most are very opinionated. The review mainly just said they would go with a "frameless style" to see better, i think you'll be set in these. Plus you can order through Oakley, any lens you want for these if the Gray lens doesn't suit you.

Okay...depends on what they will be used for

These glasses are nice looking and fit a smaller face really well. However, they have a pretty thick frame, so if you are planning to wear them skiing or fishing, they block your vision too much when looking down. Even though my husband likes the looks and the fit, he is returning them for a frameless style that will not block his vision.

"Pup-y Love"

By:
October 16, 2009

I purchased these gems about 3 months ago and am now a faithful Oakley customer. I had previously owned the M-frames and Half Jackets but was always disipointed with the durability and tendencies they had for "Lens Drop". Now that I have the solid frames of my Pups I dont worry about bombing that fast slope or leaping that wide gap for fear of eyewear malfunction. If your looking for lightweight and durable shades the Monster Pups are for you. (They also come polarized)

If you need a bigger pair, you'll want to look at the monster dogs. They're noticeably bigger, for my fellow melon-heads. :)

The Oakley Monster Pup Sunglasses come in only one size. It is definitely for small to medium sized faces. The width is 5.25 in if you measure from hinge to hinge. The lenses are 1.5 in tall at the highest point. The arms are 5 in long.

Great Glasses!

I really like these because they fit well. I have a large head and was worried that they would be too small, but they weren't at all. I really like the sides and the shape of the lenses. I used to have the gascans, and now I love my Monster Pups!

The Monster Pup doesn't have replaceable lenses. If you're wanting polarized or custom lenses, find an Oakley prescription eyewear dealer using the locater from Oakley (select Rx eyewear under 'Show Options':http://oakley.com/dealer

Monster Pup shades

By:
September 26, 2008

Oakley Monster Pup sunglasses are an all around great pair of sunglasses. If you like the look of monster dog sunglasses, but have a medium sized face, the monster pups are a great alternative. The way the arms form "fangs" around the head make these glasses super comfortable and great for all day wear.

I have the monster pups. I have to say they look best on a medium-sized face, but the shape could be probably anything except an oblong, pear, or round-shaped face. Just my opinion, of course.
