good

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

The jacket is good, exactly what I wanted. If you get your regular size, the bottom is not that tight, it has a pretty relaxed fit. Never rode up on me.

what did get me pissed is that the jacket i was sent was already used, and the tag was tied back onto the jacket. It did not bother me enough at first, but on my first day out the waterproofness on the cuffs was gone, they got wet pretty much immediately.

did not bother returning, since I like it, but do make sure all tags are intact before taking them off...

Who doesn't love some fur

This jacket is steezey as beeze kneeze! It fits me about two inches below my booty so it can stay warm on chairlift rides! I love a longer jacket because that means less snow finding its way up on to my skin between my base layers and ski pants! You stay warm and you look awesome and the waterproof is also very nice and still great on my jacket I got last year. I lived in the PNW so it rained a lot and it held up! My only things bad I can say about this jacket is if you are a busty girl you may not have that much room in your chest and there is one small pocket thats very shallow and I'm not sure what its for! One more awesome plus is that on the inside of the jacket it has shoulder straps to make sure you jacket stays in place! If you purchase this jacket you will look awesome, stay warm, and be happy!

What size are you wearing?! and How is the elastic band on the bottom when walking/skiing?

Solid snow boarding jacket

I used this jacket this past week snowboarding in Telluride. The temperature ranged from 25 to 40 degrees and it snowed a couple times. The jacket kept me warm and dry and had plenty of room for layering. It looks pretty great on but definitely can ride up (above your butt) after sitting on the lift or sitting down to strap in to your board. Not ideal but I also didn't find it to be a big problem this week.

Super Steeze

Love this jacket, super long, breathes very well when you need it to but still pretty warm for being just a shell. One con: there are no pockets on the inside, just the four external pockets, but I do love the ipod pocket because you can access your music without having to unzip your jacket.

wow

I absolutely love this jacket. It is perfect. I am 5'1 and 120 lbs I ordered a small and its a great fit, just enough room to layer if needed. The wrist gaiters are nice and thin. The jacket is very breathable and has lining in just the right spots. The material is great, snow does brush off easily and stays dry. It has quite a few ideal pockets and so nice to have an ipod pocket that actually works! Love the feminine fit and the length.

Ultra Steezy

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This jacket was given to me as a gift, and I love it! I'm 5'5 and 130 pounds, athletic build, with small hips and waste. I usually wear a medium or small in shirts or jackets and 2-4 in pants. The small fits me perfectly (I like my jackets almost fitted, but not too fitted) and the long fit is great when snowboarding (and crashing) on powder days. The liner is also long and fits over my bum and snaps into your pants if you prefer it. The jacket reaches about half way down my thigh. The sleeves are plenty long, and the jacket itself is big enough to layer a fleece or down jacket underneath. I imagine the jacket will be great for spring riding, as it is breathable. On cold days, I definitely layer a fleece or down jacket underneath. The fur on the hood does zip out. There are straps inside the coat for the use of hiking, as it hangs off of your back. Lots of pockets, I really like the iPod/earphone mechanism, easy to use. Great material, snow slides off easily and doesn't dampen in wet snow.

Pretty cool, but TIGHT bottom

This jacket is pretty cool, but the elastic bottom is VERY tight, and isn't very elastic. Enough where it bugged me to return it. I got a medium, my normal size, and the arms and chest are good, if anything a little big, but the bottom is just too tight for snowboarding, or even for walking around because it rides up a little. It feels pretty warm though, but not very waterproof (even though it's 15K). I like how the fur on the hood is removable. Not getting a bigger size because it would be just too big everywhere (and probably too long, and I like my jackets long). Also, there are no pockets on the inside except the media one in the chest.

So close to perfect

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Love the extra length, style and quality of this jacket. So sick. BUT the elastic hem would drive me crazy. With its longer fit, the bottom of the jacket hits at about your hips, but any big movements (park, back country, falling, or most importantly all those high five) shifts the jacket up so it sits at your waist. Super awkward. I'd constantly be pulling the jacket down to fit right while skiing. If it had a relaxed hemline, the jacket would be perfect.

A note on sizing: Order your regular size (I ordered up which was a mistake) - Oakley has a modern cut so it's got a relaxed fit.

Reccommend

I really like the look of this jacket. Its super long and and is a (very) slim fit. The elastic at the bottom fits tight, but is not annoying to ride in. I ordered the green color and love it. The only negative thing I can say is its not very insulated, so you need some warm layers underneath.

Hi, I wonder, if it's really not too tight in the bottom for riding...? I love the look too, it's slim fit and the green colour is gorgeous, but I'm not sure about the tightness around my legs. Have you tried it?
Thx a lot!

The green looks really good, but is just a hair darker than the photo. The bottom definitely hugs the thighs, but doesn't have any stretch... If you snowboard, it's okay since your stance is set, but for skiing or walking around, it rides up and puffs at the belly
